I have quite enjoyed this tumblr for a while and have been following it via google reader, but this comment exposes such ignorance, I am no longer interested in her thoughts.
Hi! Nice to meet you, two things real quick:
- I’m not a girl
- Wikipedia and the CIA factbook say that white people account for less than 1% of the population in Zimbabwe
So yeah, I found it interesting? It’s not me making a racist statement, it’s more of a probability observation.
But yeah, thanks for being pompous instead of making a point.
Yeah, I agree Jamie. It’s not ignorance at all; pointing out that someone’s skin color is so different from the rest of the population that it’s LESS THAN 1% and she’s still swimming for that country is really fucking interesting.
If you don’t find it interesting, whatever. But don’t go trolling just because you don’t find something remarkable and you happen to be feeling sensitive today. Whoever says that it’s “ignorant” can go shove it.
